We can use tuning fork or piano, and other tuning tools to tune a guitar

Check the tone’s harmony of all musical instruments repeatedly. The aim is not only for getting the harmony, but indirectly helps our hearing to get higher sensitivity toward the tones.


							Hold the tuning fork on its holder, then hits the fork to the table or knee’s bone, when it’s still quaking, put the tip (which is rounded-shape) on the top of the guitar body.Then, follow these steps: Press the first strings on the fifth space, and harmonizing the tune with tuning fork sound, if it tuneful, loose the pressure so the first strings become E tone. Press the second string in fifth space, and harmonizing with the first strings. Make the same way for all strings. Except for the third strings, the forth space is the one that should be pressed, and harmonized with the second strings.

Besides using the steps above, the using of piano keys can harmonize the strings tone. However, it will be better if the piano’s condition have tuned already. Moreover, you can use electric piano or grand piano (organ) because, both instruments has constant and harmonize tunes.

Beside the tuning fork and piano, there are still other guitar tuner devices, there are pitch pipe and electronic tuner.

Although now you able to know about tuning devices and how to tune the guitar, but to get the real precision result you need to practice over and over again.
