Generally, guitar has three main parts; they are head, neck and body.

There are tuning keys, nut, and fret in the head of guitar.

The function of those screws is for tuning the guitar strings.

In chord writing, the nut described similar to fret, but it has a thicker line.

Fret is a thin metal that can be found all along the fingering board.

The space among those fret are columns known as and Roman numeral marks it.  

 
 
 
 

Fingers

 
  Right hand fingers  

The right hand fingers are marked by Spanish letters, they are: p, i, m, a and ch.

  • p — pulgar, thumb.
  • i — indice, forefinger.
  • m — medio, middle finger.
  • a — anular, ring finger.
  • ch — chico, little finger.
 
 
 
  Left hand fingers  

Numeral numbers 1 – 4 marks the left hand fingers.

  • 1 stands for index finger.
  • 2 stands for middle finger.
  • 3 stands for ring finger.
  • 4 stands for little finger.
 
 
 

String

 
  Guitar string  

Numeral numbers 1 – 6 marks the Guitar strings. In addition, alphabet letters of E, B, G, D, A, and E usually marks it.
